Happy New Year, classic car fans! 2017 is already starting on a better foot than last year and we are happy to report that the development of our proprietary timekeeping system is steaming ahead.
The first major milestone was completing the new software, which synchronises the photocell signals and records challenge times, as well as calculates results for individual locations and the overall race. Now on to the second part, developing the hardware units which combine a photocell each, a real-time clock, a wireless transmitter and a power source. Updates will be posted here on the website and on our Facebook, and we hope to have a test run within a few months.
